Wheat Flour, Onion, Bell, Pepper, Malt Barley, Flour, File, Salt, Paprika, Niacin, Iron, Riboflavin (Nature Flavoring, Disodium Guanylate), Caramel Coloring, Calcium Silicate, Other Spices and Garlic.

Directions

Directions: Empty contents into a large pot with 3 quarts of water. Dissolve thoroughly. Add 2-1/2 to 3 lbs. Chicken (remove skin and excess fat). Add 2 bayou magic bay leaves, 1 lb. Diced smoked sausage and a 14.5 oz. Can of okra (optional). Bring to boil. Reduce to medium heat and simmer, about 1-1/2 hours, until meat is tender. Debone meat (if desired). Serve over steamed rice with a sprinkle of chopped green onion tops and parsley. For hotter and spicier flavor, use bayou magic cajun seasoning to taste. Cajun Tip: For a great taste and presentation, add a teaspoon of file in bottom of serving bowl, cover file with rice and add gumbo. Talk about good!!!!. For Seafood Gumbo: Follow above directions omitting sausage. Debone meat (chicken). Add sliced okra (may use fresh, frozen 14.5 oz. Can) and a 14.5 oz. Can of tomatoes. Add desired seafood simmer for 15 minutes. Follow above serving instructions. Cajun tip: Gumbo with oysters, use a small jar of oysters, cut eggplant into oyster size pieces and drop in gumbo. You can't believe it's not oysters! Ma how u like dat? Enjoy-u-self!!!. For vegan preparation, follow above directions using direction using vegan products.
