Napa Cellars Chardonnay White Wine offers a classically styled Chardonnay made from hand-picked grapes sourced from the Napa Valley. Aromas of fresh Fuji apple, lemon curd, guava, white peach and creme fraiche highlight this well-balanced, full-bodied classically styled Chardonnay. A soft mouthfeel supports flavors of guava, pineapple, Braeburn apple, cloves, coconut and Bosc pear leading to lemony, balanced acidity and a long, creamy finish of mild toasted oak and creme brulee. The 2022 vintage received 90 pts from James Suckling in December 2023. Open a wine bottle of this dry Chardonnay wine to pair with chicken saffron brochettes, a Camembert French cheese plate drizzled with local honey and almond halves or panna cotta topped with fresh berries. The white wine Chardonnay grapes were selected from vineyards in renowned Chardonnay locations including south Napa Valley, Oak Knoll and Carneros. Proximity of these vineyards to the fog and breeze from San Francisco and Marin Bay creates a cooler climate, which is ideal for growing Chardonnay. At Napa Cellars, the Chardonnay grapes are carefully hand-picked, harvested and crushed. This Napa Valley Chardonnay dry white wine is fermented and aged in French oak barrels, 26% of which were new, and undergoes 97% malolactic fermentation and lees stirring for five months.
