Enriched Bleached Wheat Flour (Wheat & Malt Barley Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Onion, Salt, Red and Green Bell Pepper, Wheat Flour, Spices (Including Red Pepper, Paprika), Garlic, Yeast Extract, Sunflower Oil, Soy Sauce (Wheat, Soybeans, Salt), Torula Yeast & Natural Flavor.

Directions

Stove Top Directions: Pick A Protein: 1 lb., cut into bite-sized pieces. Smoked Sausage. Ham. Cook: Pick over and rinse 1 lb. dried red beans. Bring beans and 7 cups water to boil in 4-quart saucepan. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 45 minutes. Mix Red Bean Seasoning Mix and 1 cup cold water. Add to beans along with sausage, mixing well. Return to boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover. Simmer 2 to 3 hours or until beans are tender. Stir occasionally to prevent beans from sticking. Enjoy: Remove from heat. Serve as a side dish or over cooked rice. Canned Beans Directions: Pour 5 cans (16 oz. each) red beans, undrained, into 4-quart saucepan, Mix Seasoning Mix and 1 cup cold water. Add to beans along with 1 lb. browned smoked sausage, mixing well. Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring occasionally to prevent beans from sticking. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 30 minutes. Tips and Tricks: Add a ham hock or cooked bacon instead of the smoked sausage. Add the Trinity (saute 1/2 cup each chopped onion, chopped celery and chopped bell pepper). Try browning the sausage or ham first.
