Let us never forget that the cultivation of the hearth is the most important labor of man. When tillage begins, other arts follow. The farmers therefore are the founders of human civilization. Pinot Noir blend from Santa Barbara County, Sonoma County, and Monterey County. Cultivation is the foundation of civilization, and Boen, meaning farm, is a testament to grape growers and their know-how garnered over generations, my family included. Our farming up and down the coast of California is reflected in our wine, and the three coastal expressions build upon each other for a perfect Pinot Noir; rich berry flavors, baking spice notes, and an enveloping mouthfeel. - Joseph Wagner, Winemaker/Grower.
  • Dark plum with ruby red highlights

  • This wine has a rounded mouth-feel, medium body, and a long smooth, velvety finish
