Prep Time: 15 minutes. Cook time:45-50 minutes. Serving size: 4-6. Ingredients: 25 signature select ginger snaps cookies. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour. 3/4 cup old fashioned oats. 3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter, melted. 4 large apples (granny smith, fuji, or honey crisp). Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray 9 x 9-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. 2. Crumble ginger snaps into a food processor. Grind to a coarse meal. In a medium bowl, add ginger snap meal, brown sugar, flour, oats, and melted butter; mix well. Set aside. 3. Core, peel, and slice the apples. Place apples at the bottom of the prepared dish. Spread ginger snap mixture over apples. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until the topping is crisp.
