Do not eat raw pie dough.
Handling Instructions: Baking instructions should be used as a guideline as oven times and temperatures may vary. 1. Remove dough from freezer and allow to thaw at room temperature approximately 2-3 hours. Note: We do not recommend refrigerating the dough or leaving it uncovered, as these conditions can cause the dough to become dry. Do not microwave the frozen dough. 2. Remove the thawed dough ball(s) for use and place on a large cutting board or flat surface that has been dusted with flour. 3. Lightly flour the dough ball and use a rolling pin to roll the dough out to desired shape, thickness, and size for your pie dish. 4. Gently transfer the dough to an ungreased pie dish and press the dough against the bottom, sides, and upper rim (crust). 5. Use a fork to prick holes into the bottom and sides of the pie crust, prior to baking. For single crust pre-baked pie shells: 1. Preheat oven at 400 degrees F, follow handling instructions above. Bake for 10-14 minutes. Follow pie recipe instructions once pie crust has cooled. For one-crust pie: 1. Follow handling instructions above for dough preparation, then proceed with instructions from selected pie recipe. For two-crust pies: 1. Follow handling instructions above for dough preparation. 2. Place your filling into pie crust. Brush edges of crust lightly with water to help seal the top crust. 3. Gently center your second pie crust atop your filled pie, and lightly press the bottom and top crusts together. Flute the pie crust into desired shape/pattern. 4. Cut a few openings in the top crust to allow steam to escape. 5. Place pie on a sheet pan and bake according to your pie recipe. Keep frozen.
